Painting day has arrived. We spent the past evening removing all of the plates and pictures off the walls, and moving furniture away from the walls. The painters arrived early this morning, and have started to sand and patch.The place is a shambles. But that's it when you're painting.
These guys seem to know what they're doing. No fooling around, patch it, sand it, paint it. Having prepared the area for them seems to have sped the process enormously. Dad (my father) is proud I'm sure.
